Track containers at TraPac Los Angeles: last free day, freight and customs releases, terminal fees and gate-out, with email alerts before the LFD.
What we track at TraPac Los Angeles
Status
On the vessel, in the yard, or gated out.
Last free day
Shown as a calendar day at the terminal, so 10/28 means the end of 10/28 in the terminal's own time. TraPac's own site stopped showing LFDs in 2022; DwellZero still gives you one.
Releases
Freight (line) and customs release.
Terminal fees
Fees such as the Clean Trucks Fee, PierPass and Gate Fee Due are kept apart from freight and customs holds.
Gate-out
The time the container left the terminal.
Vessel
Vessel and voyage.
TraPac Los Angeles is at the Port of Los Angeles in Wilmington. Since 2022 TraPac’s own lookup no longer shows the last free day, which leaves many importers checking several places.
What to watch at TraPac Los Angeles
A container can be released by the line and customs and still be held up by an unpaid terminal fee. Check the fees as well as the releases before you send a truck.
How often we check
DwellZero checks each container several times a day on a schedule that follows where it is: more often while it is arriving and as the Last Free Day gets close, and less often once it is past its LFD or not yet known to the terminal. When something changes, you get an email right away, and a webhook if you have one set up. You also get a reminder two days before the LFD, the day before, and on the day.
Where can I find the last free day for TraPac Los Angeles?
TraPac's website has not shown last free days since 2022. DwellZero shows the LFD for TraPac containers and emails you before it passes.
Are Clean Trucks Fee and PierPass holds?
DwellZero treats them as terminal fees, not as freight or customs holds, so a fee is not mistaken for a release problem.
Does DwellZero cover TraPac Oakland too?
Yes, TraPac Oakland is covered as its own terminal.
Stop checking terminals by hand.
DwellZero watches your containers at TraPac Los Angeles and across 91 port terminals and 71 rail ramps in the US and Canada. 10 containers a month are free.
